The M8.1 is a heavy duty monitor arm for larger screens and heavy use applications, and replaces the M8. A combination of friction axles and an internal counterbalance mechanism accommodates monitors from 3.6 kg up to 12 kg. A quick release ball joint makes monitor installation and removal easy, and an integrated cable management system routes cables along the arm. A stop mechanism can be set at 90 degrees or 180 degrees to prevent wall damage from over-rotation, or set for full 360 degree rotation. The quick release, press and connect design removes the need for most Allen keys.

The Compensator Mechanism and self-lubricating precision bearings let users adjust the monitor to the preferred position, with top-to-bottom cable management.
Sleek, safe design
The Smart Stop feature lets the user stop each joint anywhere along its rotation to prevent the monitor or arm overhanging desk edges. A built-in Counterbalance Indicator lets the installer counterbalance the monitor weight without a monitor attached.
Flexible configuration
An Accessory Bracket supports document holders, headphone holders, whiteboards and other workspace accessories.
Simple and sustainable
The M8.1 ships unassembled to reduce packaging size, and its modular links allow the workspace to be reconfigured without additional parts. Humanscale monitor arms are free of Red List chemicals.
