The Matias Ergo Pro Keyboard is a split mechanical keyboard for PC users with the features you would expect from an ergonomic design: tenting, negative tilt, separated left and right sides and a short reach to the mouse. It adds what most ergonomic keyboards leave out, Matias Quiet Click mechanical switches, which are faster and more comfortable than the switches in flat keyboards, yet quiet enough for office environments. Other features include a removable palm support, sculpted keycaps, laser-etched keys, a 3-port USB 2.0 hub, audio and media controls, dedicated keys for undo, cut, copy and paste, and anti-ghosting circuitry.

This is a mechanical keyboard and it will make audible sounds when used. As these keyboards are mechanical in nature, there will usually be very slight variations in the tonal quality of the clicking sounds that the keys make.

Note: this is a special-order keyboard and is NOT returnable for change of mind.

Features
  • Matias Quiet Click mechanical switches: ALPS-inspired design with generous tactile feedback and enough resistance to support the weight of your hands; quiet enough to use in office environments
  • Better navigation cluster: Navigation keys laid out horizontally along the bottom row, closer to standard and easier to reach, so the keyboard is narrower than most ergonomic keyboards and more comfortable to use with a mouse
  • Tenting and negative tilt: Leg supports for 9 degree tenting and 4.5 degree negative tilt; can also be used flat
  • Removable palm supports: Spacious supports that can be taken off if your desk has built-in palm rest
  • Sculpted keytops: Curved to fit fingertips and keep you from sliding out of home position; laser-etched symbols that never wear off
  • Dedicated shortcut keys: Undo, cut, copy and paste keys that work out of the box, no drivers required
  • 3 extra USB 2.0 ports: For flash drives, digital cameras, your mouse and more
  • Audio and media controls: Fn-key shortcuts for volume, mute, play/pause and track skip
  • Anti-ghosting circuitry: N-key rollover keeps up with fast typists, with no missing or phantom keys
